Bo, the owner of 512 Garage Doors, is incredible! He's pleasant, honest, competent, and more than reasonable. I've used him twice for two different garages and I'll tell you why I think he's the absolute best.
For the first job, I got 3 bids. The first (Cedar Park) told me the door was too heavy and everything would cost $500. The second bidder and Bo said this was not true. The second bidder was nice but didn't seem very knowledgeable. Bo came to my house three times (once for the estimate, a second time to try and replace a part to try and repair the system, and a third to replace it) and still only charged $125. He's a really good guy and I give him my highest recommendation!

I would give this company 10 stars if I could. Having used Bo before I knew I had one of the best. Installed new sensors and door control in the most expeditious way possible fee was more than reasonable. This company believes in repairing if possible. Not like others irrespective of the trade nowadays all they want to do is sell something new instead of repairing .

Fast, friendly, affordable, and punctual. I had a craftsman opener that was dying and the hinges/hardware of my existing door was starting to fail/fall apart. Bo came to the rescue. After talking to a few other suppliers in town, Bo was the best choice. He told me exactly which parts I needed and the cost plus wait time for each component. He kept all of his appointments on time, answered his phone or returned calls when we didn't connect right away.

I have worked with Bo for so many years that I do not even remember when it all began. I do know that the garage doors installed by another company were not working properly and I found Bo. Overtime, he has replaced one really old door...this new one is quiet, efficient, and works so smoothly....and continues to repair the other door which is old but still works. Bo is personable, competent and prompt in replies with excellent customer service. He now comes every year to lube, maintain and check-in on how the doors are performing. It is always October when I text him for the annual check in and that way I know that the "cold" Texas winter will be easier on us since the doors will always open so we may drive into the warmer garage.

If you're looking for a garage door tune up or repair, I strongly recommend that you look no further than Bo and 512 Garage Doors. Of course I was needing garage door repair unexpectedly (isn't that always the way?!?!) and it was a Sunday, so I did an outreach for quotes via Yelp (partially because my prior emergency service provider doesn't appear to be in business anymore). Bo was one of a number who responded to me - he was prompt and clear in his responses and we setup an appointment for the following day. He let me know when he was on his way and that he'd be early (wow - already had a strong impression!) and then he got straight to work and was able to do the repair efficiently and effectively. He then talked me through other things he noticed and would recommend I consider - and I took his advice and we arranged an appointment later the same week via Yelp messenger. He again arrived on time and was thorough in his work and debrief with me. I would not hesitate to use 512 Garage Doors again - professional and fair on the prices for the outstanding work quality.

He was out Tuesday for an assessment of my situation! Job was completed Saturday! Bo went above and beyond his call of duty! We hired Bo to replace three old garage door openers. The previous install had some strange electrical wiring that did not make the job straightforward. Bo was dedicated to ensuring that not only his part of the job was done well but fixing the electrical wiring issues and making adjustments to the doors themselves make sure that everything was in great working order. Contacted 512 Garage Doors after the spring on my garage door broke. Upon seeing the many positive reviews on Yelp for this company, I requested a quote through the Yelp website. Less than five minutes later, Bo, the owner, emailed me. He quoted a very reasonable price, and so I asked to schedule an appointment. Since I said that this was not an emergency, I was okay with a Monday morning appointment--which was the next available time. I asked him if he could narrow down the time a bit, and he did. On Monday morning, he gave me a courtesy call letting me know that he would be arriving in about an hour. After arriving at the scheduled window of time, he started the job promptly and finished quickly. After discussing the job afterwards, I learned that he even replaced or tightened some of the door screws so that it would operate more smoothly. I appreciated that. From initial contact to completing the work, Bo was courteous and professional. He even later followed up with a text later that day to make sure that I was a satisfied customer. Overall, I was very pleased with the services provided and would definitely call on them again if needed.
